About

Nick Siegel is a creative independent musician from Kansas City with influences such as Ben Folds, Badly Drawn Boy, and The Mars Volta. His energetic piano approach to story telling sets a stage for the theatrics of art rock blended with the darker pulse of pop music.

He is a Sound Designer and Composer, having worked with Emmy and Grammy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary on the Outlander  series and composes and records music for a variety of clients for placements in television series, commercials, independent films, and radio broadcasts.

Nick has been a member of numerous bands including The Casket Lottery and Brent Windler  and currently the touring keyboardist for HaHa Tonka. He also continues to perform under his own name and is finishing his latest EP “For You Dear, Anything: Act Three."

“Rounding out the evening was Nick Siegel. If you did not know anything about Nick, his choice of a button down shirt with tie for attire and only a keyboard as his instrument could’ve led one to assume he planned to lull us down with soothing piano music… But that’s not Nick’s style. After joyfully stating “These make me happy,” and passing out leis to guests, Nick tore into frantic piano numbers with the speed and dexterity of a young, chaotic Ben Folds. The audience’s jaws collectively dropped as he hammered away, rocking so hard during his last song that his glasses almost flew off. As the ashes of what once was Playlistplay House scattered around us, it was collectively decided this was a Sofar not soon to be forgotten.”
